Pakdis Public Joint Stock Company was established in 1971 in order to properly and beneficially exploit the agricultural products of the region in the preparation, production and cultivation of raw materials for the food industry, creating farms and promoting agriculture, purchasing and establishing food factories, especially grape harvesting, and distributing and selling various types of juices, jams, canned goods and non-alcoholic beverages throughout Iran, as well as exporting and importing all products and necessities of the company, including white and red grapes, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, pomegranates, tomatoes, and using sugar beet molasses produced by sugar factories (for alcohol production) in 1970 on a land area of 27 hectares and 26 thousand square meters, and its exploitation has begun since 1974.
