Behshahr Industrial Co. History
The commercial activities of Behshahr Industries Group began in 1944 with the establishment of Arian Trading Joint Stock Company (private joint stock company), the first trading company affiliated with the holding company, and then in 1955, it began its production activities.
The company was registered on January 4, 1960, with the name "Arian Industries Development Joint Stock Company" in the Tehran Companies and Industrial Property Registration Office. The company started its operations as a food and detergent industry holding company with an initial capital of 250 million rials. On August 19, 1977, based on the decision of the Extraordinary General Assembly, it was first renamed "Behshahr Industries Development Company" and then in 1974, Behshahr was converted from a private joint stock company to a public joint stock company and began operating under the trade name "Webshahr" in the Securities and Exchange Organization.
