Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries complex (ISOICO) is a reliable and well-known industrial and economical area which has stationed other modern and industrial groups specially connected to shipbuilding and related industries in its own place. ISOICO is attempting to be the leader and pioneer in shipbuilding, platform, oil & mineral terminal industries in the Persian Gulf by 2025. ISOICO is a subsidiary of the Iranian Industrial Development and Modernization Organization and has six groups as follows:

The Iranian Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex (ISOICO) was built in 1973 by the German company Blue & Foss, 37 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas, and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, its various parts were gradually created as a development plan. During this time, the company was able to prove its ability in the field of building this class of vessels by successfully building and delivering three ocean-going vessels. Since 2017, with the launch of dry docks, ISOICO has achieved the highest capacity for building and repairing vessels. Over the years, ISOICO has proven its strategic role in the country by designing and building oil and gas platforms; to the point that today, with an infrastructure of over 1,100 hectares and utilizing unique facilities and expert staff, it is known as the largest maritime industry infrastructure in the country. Currently, Isoeco has the ability to build and repair any type of vessel in the world, with various systems for water intake and launching.
