Iran Docharkh Company was established in 1960 to produce various types of bicycles and gas and geared motorcycles with technical and commercial cooperation of famous and large companies such as Peugeot of France and Yamaha Motor of Japan. Construction and installation operations and installation of machinery lasted about 2 years and the company practically started operating its factories in Alborz Industrial City near Qazvin in 1972. The company's factories are located on a land area of 25,000 square meters, on which a total of 14,500 square meters of halls and administrative and service buildings have been built. Today, with an experienced and specialized workforce and an annual capacity of 125,000 types of motorcycles and 204,000 types of bicycles, it is one of the largest bicycle and motorcycle manufacturing factories in Iran and one of the most important motorcycle exporters to neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.
