Nestle Iran Co. History

Our history dates back to 1866, when the Swiss-English company Nestlé was founded. In 1867, Nestlé’s founder, a German-born pharmacist named Henri Nestlé, introduced the Farine Lacte formula in Vaud, Switzerland. The product, which contained cow’s milk, wheat flour, and sugar, was created with the aim of saving the lives of infants deprived of breast milk and reducing the high infant mortality rate at the time. It was around this time that he began using the nest design on his product packaging, which can still be seen on the Nestlé logo today.
In 1905, the Nestlé Art Company merged with the Anglo-Swiss Company, creating what we know today as the world's largest food and beverage company, Nestlé. At the same time, the opening of railways and steamships lowered the price of goods, international trade in consumer goods flourished, and Nestlé products were distributed in other countries.
